TheDeepSleep.com was created to accompany the book of the same name written by Tim Erickson.  This book has been featured on various blogs and is available for sale through the website and Amazon.com.

The site was created in WordPress and the theme is based on the Rocketheme’s Moxy design.  It was customized to match the cover artwork of the book.

The design is clean, easy to read and is search engine friendly.  The site also features a shopping cart system that allows visitors to purchase a PDF of the book via PayPal or they can purchase the paperback version of the book via a direct link to Amazon.com.

ExpressiveParents.com is a pregnancy and parenting support site that I own and administrate myself.  The site went live for the first time in January of 2004 and still exists today as a niche corner of the internet that parents can communicate, swap stories, and support each other.

The site is currently utilizing the vBulletin message board system with an add-on called vBAdvanced handling the front page content management.  Previous iterations of the site ran a variety of Open Source Content Management Systems including Joomla, Mambo, Geeklog, Drupal, and Subdreamer (not in that order).

The current design was created in cooperation with ForumSkin.com – a high-end vBulletin style design provider.

WisconsinUMC.org is the main web site for the Wisconsin Conference of the United Methodist Church.  I completely re-did their web site several years ago and implemented a Content Management System so that they could easily maintain the site themselves.  They have been doing so ever since.

The site was created in Joomla! and the design is based off of their preferred color scheme of purple and gold.  Navigation was a primary concern for this client due to the variety of departments and information that is available on the site.  In addition to the publicly accessible pages, there is also an employee’s only section that requires a user log-in to access.
